The Iqaluit 2015 Ministerial Meeting takes place next week, marking the conclusion of Canada's Chairmanship and the beginning of the United States' Chairmanship.

This gathering of ministers of Arctic states and leaders from Indigenous permanent participant organizations will be the occasion to consider many of the assessments, guidelines, and other deliverables that have been completed during the two years of the Canadian Chairmanship. It is also an occasion to look forward, as the ministers and permanent participant leaders provide guidance on the Council's next two years of work.
